The background
Coyven is built on more than five years in financial-services technology — first at a managed service provider, running and securing the whole estates of regulated clients, then in-house inside a financial firm. That is time spent everywhere from the helpdesk to the server room to the boardroom.
Across that work the same disciplines come up again and again: identity and access, Microsoft 365 and Azure, networks and infrastructure, endpoint management, security and hardening, backup and recovery — and the reporting and evidence that tie it all together for the people who have to sign it off.
Hands-on, end to end
We have configured the controls, run the migrations, handled the incidents, passed the assessments and answered the regulator’s questions — not from a slide deck, but from doing it. That breadth is deliberate. It means we can run the day-to-day, make the senior calls, and explain any of it to a board without reaching for a specialist.
Why it matters
Financial and regulated firms cannot treat IT as something that merely has to work — it has to be proven. Having sat on both the supplier and the in-house side of that, we know what good looks like, and what an assessor will ask for before they ask it. That is the standard we bring to every estate in our care.
